Getting Started
Welcome to MonsterNode! We're thrilled to have you on board. This guide is your ultimate starting point, designed to take you from a brand-new customer to a server-running expert in just a few minutes.
Your Client Area (billing) login is different from your Game Panel (server management) login. Check your welcome email for your auto-generated Game Panel credentials.
1. Understanding the Two Portals
To ensure maximum security and performance, MonsterNode uses a dual-portal system. This separates your sensitive billing information from your day-to-day server management.
The Client Area (Billing & Support)
Accessible at dash.monsternode.io. Use this portal to purchase new servers, manage subscriptions, view invoices, and open support tickets.
The Game Panel (Server Control)
Accessible at panel.monsternode.io. Powered by Pterodactyl, use this portal to start/stop your servers, manage files via SFTP, and schedule backups.
2. Deploying Your First Server
- Navigate to the Plans page and select the service that fits your needs.
- Complete the checkout process using Stripe or PayPal.
- Within 60 seconds, you will receive an email titled "Server Installed".
- Log into the Game Panel, click on your server, and click Start.
3. Connecting to Your Server
Once your server says RUNNING in the Game Panel, you need to connect to it in-game.
If your server was assigned a dedicated IP (default port 25565), you can just enter the text before the colon. If it has a custom port, you must include it.
